- This is a Veteran's Memorial consisting of a set of five large stainless steel panels with holes that guide sunlight to strike a memorial plaque. The alignment is designed to commemorate the signing of the armistice ending World War One, illuminating the plaque on Nov 11th at 11:00AM The concept of this monument was taken from one built in Anthem AZ, however the details of the design are different. It is designed for the sun's alignment at altitude of 40.7° and azimuth of 167.9°.

- Plaque is inscribed: Veteran's Memorial On Nov. 11 at 11:00 AM the sun will spotlight the plaque commemorating the date and time of the signing of the Armistice ending WWI. The citizens of Lucedale wish to thank all of our veterans for their service and sacrifice.
