- Inniswood Metro Gardens, one of 20 natural area parks around Columbus Ohio, is located off the north-east corner of the 270 Interstate beltway at 940 S. Hempstead Rd, in Westerville, Ohio April 1- Sep 30 6:30am - 9pm Oct 1 - March 31: 6:30am - 7pm Dial located in the herb garden. Walk from the parking lot through the circle garden to the cutting garden. Herb garden is just to the left.
- Description:
- This horizontal dial is of weathered concrete, about 38cm (15 inches) in diameter. Roman numerals mark the hours from 5am to 7pm. A large bronze gnomon with foot in the center of the round dial casts the shadow. The north edge of the gnomon is shaped into a face. The garden includes a traditional knot garden, a water feature, and a unique sundial made of herbs.
