Habermel's design is elegant and was made while instrument maker to Emperor Rudolf II in Prague fom 1593 unl his death on the15th of November 1606., His dial is rotated on a string until the gnomon shadow falls on the circular date line, and time is obtained by reading the corresponding nearly straight hour line. This dial is much easier to use than the ring dial except that this dial must be made for a specific latitude. Therefore yourh Habermel Decliner is unique. For display, it comes with a stand.
It is shipped in a USPS Flat Rate Priority Box. At no additional cost your name and latitude will be embossed on the top of the dial. If the dial is a gift, let us know name and appropriate latitude. Some assembly required.
