Until further notice, NASS Shop items cannot be sold or shipped to addresses in the EU.
NASS is pleased to offer a 3D printed astrolabe in the tradition of Chaucer, following Chaucer's manuscript of 1390. The astrolabe is 7 inches (18 cm) in diameter with the Climate Plate tailored to your latitude.
⚠ NOT A TOY -- NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER AGE 14
This working astrolabe is in the English tradition of Chaucer during the period 1326-1400 including a dragon head on the Rete, which contains many of the stars in the Chaucer Rete drawings. Although the astrolabe is a medieval instrument, this one has been updated for the precession of the equinox for modern day use. This astrolabe will be constructed specifically for your latitude and 3D printed using PLA black and bronze filament.
