  • At the Summerland Ornamental Gardens, 4200 BC-97, Summerland, BC V0H 1Z4. From Highway 97, take Green Lake Road and proceed through farmland occupied by the Agricultural Research Institute until you reach the Gardens. The dial is at the edge of a lawn on the north side of an old residence in the middle of the Gardens, less than 10m from the house. Summer: 8am-8pm
 
Description:
  • This is a standard equatorial in reasonable condition, mass produced, probably steel, about 2 feet in diameter. As at 2019, it is loose on its base and so visitors are likely to find it out of alignment. It is mounted on a rough stone pedestal decorated with strips of metal reminiscent of plant foliage reaching up around it.
